With just over 700 locations  and in about 300 days, IPay proudly served I million happy customers. IPay was founded with the mission to “Empower Commoner with Ecommerce”. Out of 1.2 billion population in India only few million buy online with that few million buyers Indian Ecommerce Industry is pegged at 18 billion dollars. We strongly believe and confident that there are more than billion at this time who never bought online. Our Technology and Business is all about aiming at them and helping those customers to consumer Ecommerce transactions with out changing much in purchasing behavior through their trusted local kirana stores.

Our team believes and are 100% sure that In next 45 days we will increase this rate to serving about 5000 new customers daily.

We at IPay constantly think and innovate better ways to engage and help our retailers and consumers. During business contest, which we conducted across the company, every team member of IPay came up with a unique Idea .As our DNA is ready to change and work agile in creating a new processes and executing them .One of IPay team member presented this idea and looked like it is very interesting and makes it easy for our retailers and consumers to get the benefits of our Ecommerce platform using our Innovative method called iVocc (IPay Virtual Order Creation Center) where we have VIPs (Virtual In store Promoters) sitting at call center .

Before we jump into how it works one must understand how retail promotion happens for brands.Brands deploy sales personals in stores to promote that specific brand to the consumers those walk into the store.

We have 600+ retailers across Hyderabad it is impossible for us to employ 600 people to do the in store promotion about Ipay products. Since It is costly affair we felt that it is not scalable model. Each retailer does an average of 25 transactions on our platform. While we know the consumer phone number who is transacting on our platform through the retailer we want to help retailer to increase his potential in selling and also help consumer in choosing the right products which they may need. Thus for the first time we have created Virtual In store Promoters an Innovative way to engage consumer through technology and Human voice.

We have invented iVocc and VIP model and integrate seamlessly to help both Retailer and consumers.

How this works if any retailer does the transaction on our platform for consumer using our technology we invoke a call on the consumer phone number sitting at our call center we know which retailer is helping the consumer.
So we know location of the consumer at that moment and we also know what consumer bought a second ago, we want to see if we can help consumer to make right decision and help retailer to sell more through our Virtual In store Promoters.

Our VIP(Virtual In store Promoters ) guide consumer on the phone to choose right products that intern help IPay and retailer to sell more .
